How Writers Can Quickly Test Meta's Llama 3.1 405b

A llama looks into the camera, biting a stalk of grass at the side of its mouth, looking like it's about to pick a fight.

If you're like me and don't want to learn how to program or use HuggingFace to chat with Meta's new Llama 3.1 405b model, you can try it out on Lex.page. Just switch the Language Model in the settings from Lex to Llama 3.1 405 in any of your documents to get started.

Note, you *will* need a paid subscription. Here's what it looks like below.

Quick summary of Lex:

Lex is an AI-powered writing assistant aimed to help writers. At a glance, it's mainly for long form copy, and includes features like AI-generated outlines, paragraph suggestions, and my favourite - detailed editing feedback. I've got a more in-depth review of Lex coming up, so stay tuned for that.
